About

our origins

In early 2023, during a focus group with the local youth council, young people said they felt isolated, with nowhere to go, nothing to do, and no real access to opportunities. This kept coming up with whoever we talked to. It was clear that young people needed a better way to find things to do in their local area.

At first, it was just an idea for a small newsletter with a section called “what’s happening in your endz.” It was meant to highlight local opportunities and events, but we started thinking bigger. What if there were a whole platform that helped young people find things in their area?

Then, in August 2023, a single viral TikTok brought hundreds of young people to Oxford Street for the wrong reasons. But what would happen if that same energy were used for something positive? So we created a group chat named Endz that would eventually become ENDZ Group CIC. What started as one idea between friends quickly grew into something much bigger.

Since then, EG has been proudly youth-led. Everything we’ve built has come from our own experiences and the changes we wanted to see. We’ve faced setbacks, rejections, and instability. But we kept going, and on 31 July 2024, EG officially became a Community Interest Company, giving us a structure, a clear mission, and a platform to grow. More importantly, it meant young people had built something of their own from scratch, and we will never stop being proud of this.

Our offer to young people

  • project 9.0

Project 9.0 is our youth-led campaign to end child homelessness in London by 2035, named after the 90,000 children without a place to call home. We're building a nine-point plan shaped by young people, alongside resources for those facing homelessness right now. This movement brings together young people, organisations, and decision-makers, and we run sessions to help drive the mission forward.

  • unscrambled

Unscrambled is our youth‑led journalism platform ‘unscrambling the world one post at a time.’ It gives young people the tools to tell their stories and shape the conversation, from culture and politics to personal experience. After a 2024 pilot during the London elections, Unscrambled will return through our Young Journalists programme, with fresh content across various platforms.

  • endz app

The Endz App is our flagship project, a free platform we are developing to connect young Londoners with local events, jobs, discounts and opportunities. With accessibility built in and young people shaping every stage, it will put the city’s best options in one place and contribute to our core mission of ending youth social isolation. We aim to launch in Summer 2026 and are looking for partners to help bring it to life.

Our vision.

“We envision a city where no young person feels isolated or disconnected, where every individual has equal access to opportunities, regardless of their background, circumstances, or past. A place where poverty and adversity are not barriers, and where every young person is empowered to thrive and succeed.”

Our values

community

We’re rooted in the places we come from. Everything we do is built around creating stronger, safer, more connected communities where young people feel seen, supported, and proud of where they live. We believe real change starts at street level, so we build from the ground up, with and for our community. Whether it’s through the Endz App, local partnerships, or amplifying young voices, we’re here to make sure no one is left behind.

Inclusion

We don’t leave people out. From accessibility features to co-designing our work with young people from all backgrounds, inclusion isn’t an add-on; it’s baked into how we work. Everyone, no matter their identity or experience, should be able to show up, take part, and thrive. We also know we won’t always get everything right, but we’re committed to being open, accountable, and always learning so we can keep improving together.

creativity

We believe creativity is power. Whether it’s content, code, campaigns or conversation, we put creative thinking at the centre of everything. Young people are full of bold ideas, we give them the tools, space, and support to bring them to life and shape the future their way. We strive to be a hub of innovation and the unordinary, and dare not just to be the future, but create it.

in the pipeline

  • We want to create a platform that will help students access sports in their local communities, regardless of their age or abilities, by partnering with schools, local parks, and playing fields, to offer a management solution for sports sessions, that will dramatically increase young people’s access to sport.

  • The closure of the National Citizenship Service (NCS) has left a large void in life skills development for young people. We want to create a large offer that will allow young people of all ages to develop a wide range of life skills, from cooking to languages, in their local communities.

  • We applied and were approved to become an Arts Award Centre in 2024 and will complete our registration in Summer 2025. We want to help local providers and youth centres with the resources to offer Arts Awards, without them having to go through the approval process, by establishing a network of Creative Colleges across England and Wales.
