YOuth advisory board
Why do we exist?
EG exists to be led by the people it serves, young people. Our Youth Advisory Board gives 11–19 year olds a real say in how things run, making sure EG stays true to its values and puts youth voice at the centre of every decision.

Join the youth advisory board.
Are you aged 11–19 and want a real say in what EG does?
The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is ENDZ Group CIC’s main youth voice group. It shapes everything across EG – from campaigns and projects to new ideas we haven’t even launched yet. This isn’t just about one programme. It’s about helping steer the whole organisation.
As a YAB member, you’ll share ideas, test plans, give honest feedback, and help decide what EG focuses on next. You’ll build confidence, leadership and real-world skills, meet other young people, and be part of creating things that actually matter.
You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be loud. We just want young people who care, are curious, and want to help shape the future of EG.

You’ll need to:
Be aged between 11 and 19 years old
Live or study in Greater London or Dartford
Be Interested in learning how community organisations are governed and operate
Be ready to grow and have fun!

The Youth Advisory Board meets in person for full-day sessions, around once a month, starting in late spring. Sessions include food, games, creative activities, and proper time to think and build together. There may also be short online sessions in between.
You’ll help shape and roll out EG’s new strategy, then be part of making it real across the next one to two years. That might include:
giving honest feedback on plans and ideas
helping shape new projects and programmes
advising on our socials, content, and comms
creating or testing resources for young people
attending events or talks as a youth rep
visiting programmes to give youth feedback
You’re not just asked for your opinion. You’re part of the group helping guide where EG goes next.
-
You get a real seat at the table. Your ideas will shape a real organisation and its future. You’ll build leadership, confidence, and decision-making skills, meet other young people, and be treated as an equal in the room.
There’s food, travel covered, and opportunities that feel special and different from school. You’ll gain tangible experience you can use for CVs, personal statements, and things like the DofE volunteering section. You’re not just joining a group – you’re helping shape what EG becomes.
