We count South East London as any of the following boroughs:
Bexley
Bromley
Greenwich
Lambeth
Lewisham
Southwark
You also count as being from South East London if your temporary accommodation is provided by any of these boroughs.
-
Homelessness is commonly thought to just be rough sleeping, but this actually makes up very little of the homeless population. If where you live isn’t a home to you, it isn’t a home to us. This might include temporary accommodation, sofa surfing, living in overcrowded situations, or having an insecure tenancy. Everyone’s experience is different, and we want to hear how homelessness affects you or those around you.
-
You can apply to become a youth ambassador at any time, but you’ll need to apply by 31st May to join the Youth Advisory Group (YAG).
-
Sessions will take place at various locations across South East London, they will always be easily accessible by public transport, and if you’re a youth ambassador, we will reimburse (pay back) any public transport costs or any alternative transport if you have accessibility needs. Sessions will always happen after school around 6pm (we haven’t decided a day yet), but there may be additional opportunities that are outside of those times.
-
Nope. Youth ambassadors need no experience but their lived experience. We ask that Youth Advisory Group members have some experience working with others, for example, working with young people or managing a school project, but this isn’t a dealbreaker, we care more about your potential.
-
Let us know any support you need when filling out the form – no diagnosis needed, just share what helps and we’ll do our best to support you. If you need extra time or help applying, email projectnine@endz.uk. If you're applying for the Youth Advisory Group and have a disability, you're guaranteed an interview if you're eligible under the Disability Confident scheme.

Yes – 100%! You’ll get a Project 9.0 t-shirt (which you’ll help design – exciting, we know), plus other bits to help you feel part of the team. If you’re in the Youth Advisory Group, you’ll also get a custom hoodie and your own YAG lanyard. At sessions, there’ll be snacks on deck and sometimes hot food, and we’ll plan fun trips and days out across the year, because doing good should feel good too.

We’re not a housing charity, so we can’t offer direct housing support or legal advice. But we can point you towards trusted services, help you understand your rights, and – if needed – speak to local services on your behalf with your consent. Longer-term, we’re working with young people to build better support and resources for those facing homelessness.
