About the role
This role is all about building the digital side of EG. You’ll help create and improve our website, work on The Endz App MVP, and bring new tools to life that make it easier for young people to get help, opportunities, and support. You’ll be the go-to person for anything techy – but don’t worry, we’re not expecting a software engineer.
You’ll be part of our 2025/26 placement team with two other students, helping us grow EG while gaining solid experience on real projects that actually matter – like Project 9.0 and our new digital platform launches.
What you’ll be doing:
Helping build our Endz App MVP (using no-code tools like Glide or Flutterflow)
Improving our website and making sure everything runs smoothly
Supporting our digital tools (from simple forms to donation systems)
Making our platforms more accessible, youth-friendly and safe
Working with the team to test new features and take on feedback
Helping shape how we show up digitally as a youth-led org
We’re looking for someone who:
Has some tech or digital knowledge (but doesn’t need to be a pro)
Can learn new tools quickly and solve problems
Wants to make a difference through digital work
Is proactive and independent, but also a team player
Understands or wants to understand how young people use tech
Bonus points if you:
Know how to use Squarespace, WordPress, Flutterflow, or Figma
Care about accessibility, inclusion and ethical tech
Have any experience building websites, apps, or digital projects
Have some programming/coding experience
Are into youth voice, community-led tech or digital storytelling
What you’ll get out of it:
Experience working on real digital platforms from scratch
The chance to shape how we reach and support young people
Skills that’ll stand out on your CV
Mentoring, training, and solid references
A flexible, creative environment where you can grow
